Winter season often is cold and damp and the best food for us is warm and hot in property due to low level of Yang energy in microcosm of the human and in Macrocosm of the universe. Here are some food that you can consume in the winter season. Such as lamb, beef, chicken and their bones if you are meat-eaters; but for vegetarians, you can eat a lot of root vegetables, for example, parsnip, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, carrots, beetroots, paprika, red beans, black beans, edamame beans, black fungus (wood ears), all types of seaweeds etc. It is good to cook meat in casseroles or in soups. Meat bones are good to make a nourishing soup. For all kind of beans, you can cook in curry form.
